Hi there! I’d like to write about my 9-days-trip in Sydney and Cairns. On the first day, I went to Sydney, but my flight was cancelled at the time before eight hours. It was confusing that when I woke up in the early morning, and I received an e-mail. I was upset and I had to make another reservation because there was no alternate flight on that day. So, I advise you not to use jet star or kinds of LCC on Australia, at important travel. After I arrived at Sydney, I was overcome by busyness. Public transportations are available even at midnight, also I could use my contactless credit card instead of Transperth card. The city was huge, and similar to Tokyo. I used to rural life for two months, so it was surprising. On the next day, I went to Blue Mountains. It is famous for its beautiful scenery, and it was brilliant. I saw beautiful sky and mountains’ line, and their contrast. Also, there are two ropeways, and a cable car at Scenic World. For me, the cable car was the best, because I went through the tunnels and deep forest in high speed, and it was thrilling.

After Sydney, I went to Cairns to enjoy ocean and tropical rainforest. Firstly, I went to Green Island, and enjoyed snorkeling. I saw so many tropical fish over there and swam together. Also, the sea water was so clear, and I saw corals every direction. Secondly, I went to Kuranda. It is common to use ropeway and railways to visit there. In these vehicles, I enjoyed beautiful view for example, a great waterfall, a blue butterfly called Ulysses under us, and so on. At the village, I visited butterfly sanctuary to see butterflies closer. There are so many kinds of colorful butterflies; red, yellow, blue, green, orange, etc.

In this way, I enjoyed and feel nature so much in this trip after all. I highly recommend you begin preparing before a month. I hope your trip will be the best memories for you. See ya next time!

こんにちは！今回は9日間のシドニー・ケアンズ旅行について書きます。初日にシドニーに行ったのですが、フライトの8時間前に欠航になりました。朝早く起きてメールを確認したらこんな風だったので困惑しました。その日に代替便がなかったので、他の航空会社の便を新たに予約しました。ですので、オーストラリアでの大事な旅にはジェットスターやその系統のLCCを使わないことを強くお薦めします。

シドニーに着いてからは都会の忙しさに圧倒されました。公共交通機関が夜中でも利用でき、コンタクトレス機能付きのクレジットカードをトランスパースカード（日本でいうsuica）の代わりに利用できました。街は巨大で東京に通ずるものがありました。私は2か月間のんびりとした田舎ライフに慣れ親しんでいたので、やっぱり驚きでした。翌日にはブルーマウンテンを訪れました。そこは美しい景色で有名なのですが、実際に素晴らしい景色でした。美しい青空と山々の稜線が見え、そのコントラストが美しかったです。また、シーニックワールドという2種類のロープウェイとケーブルカーが楽しめる場所があります。私は、ケーブルカーが一番楽しみ甲斐がありました。なぜなら、トンネルと深い森をハイスピードで駆け抜ける感じがスリル満点だったからです。

シドニーの後には、ケアンズに海と熱帯雨林を楽しみに行きました。まずグリーン島に行き、スノーケリングを楽しみました。様々な熱帯魚（？）が見られ、一緒に泳ぐことができました。海はとても澄んでおり、どの方向を見てもサンゴ礁が広がっているのが素晴らしかったです。次に、キュランダに行きました。ロープウェイや鉄道を利用して訪れることで有名なのですが、本当に美しい景色を堪能できました。例えば、大きな滝、私たちの下を青い蝶々（ユリシス）が舞う様子等です。村では、私はバタフライ・サンクチュアリーを訪れ、蝶々を間近に見ることができました。赤、黄、青、緑、オレンジ等本当にカラフルで様々な種類の喋々がいてきれいでした。

こんな感じで最終的には旅を大いに楽しみ、自然を感じることができました。みなさんは、セメスターブレイクの準備をするときには1か月以上前から始めることをお薦めします。（私は8月中旬には飛行機やホテルを押さえました）皆さんのセメスターブレイクも素敵な思い出になることを祈って。また次の投稿でお会いしましょう。
